Eight days to go!
This week and next week, our calendar is full of activities. Be sure to read the dates below. Wednesday, June 1-All 3rd graders get pizza for remarkable work in Achieve 3000. Students can bring their lunch if they aren't pizza lovers but everyone needs to celebrate this accomplishment! Friday, June 3-2:30-3:30 Informance in the gym Monday, June 6-10:15-11:00 PBIS Assembly rewarding specific students and classes for positive behavior Tuesday, June 7-Junior Achievement connects our academics to real world business Thursday, June 9-Last Day of School! 12:30-1:00 End of Year memories for my class 1:00-2:00 Third Grade Picnic in Pavilion (bring lawn chairs, frisbees, outdoor fun, and a lunch!) This week, students will listen as I read aloud picture books that focus on various social issues (homelessness, poverty, environmental concerns, bullies, relationships). We'll finish our informative pieces in writing and practice cursive. In math, we'll do some review with in-class projects. In social studies, we'll have assessments on Tuesday and Wednesday. Then, students will be given a project to propose to the "city council" on how their group plans to budget their millions of dollars. =) Thanks for all you have done this year, Amy Flowers [email protected]
